HOW TO ENTER
Entry Eligibility:
Entries must have been produced between May 1, 2008 and May 31, 2009.

Entry Cost:
$55 per entry. If you enter more than three, the cost drops to $50 per entry. NOTE: You must pay for four or more awards at one time to secure the multiple entry discount.

Step 1: Prepare to Enter
- Review categories and criteria
- Jot down the category number and title
- Note the parameters (Research, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation) and restrictions (word limits)
- Set aside a little time to prepare and submit your entries

Step 2: Register/Login
- Establish username (email address)
- Establish password (your selection)

Step 3: Create/Manage Your Account
- Fill in all fields
- Click [Save]

Step 4: Manage Entries Online
- you can search your entries, edit, delete or print the project profile sheet for the entry from this screen
- Click [+ new entry] to add new entries
- Fill in the entry form for each entry
- Upload up to three graphics to represent the entry (such as a logo or image that will be used in the awards presentation if your entry should win a Lantern)

YOUR ENTRY IS NOT COMPLETE - IT MUST STILL BE PRINTED AND MAILED IN WITH YOUR BINDER.

- Fill in three lines of text that will appear on the award if the entry is selected. Be sure to double check what you type in because this is what will be on the award.
- Click [Save]
- Once all entries are entered, proceed to PayPal checkout by clicking [Pay for Entries] - options = credit card or check.
- You will receive a confirmation email once complete.

Step 5: Print your project profile sheet(s) and prepare your binder(s)
- Click [Print] to the right of your entry on the Manage Entries page
- Review it thoroughly. If you must repair your entry, X out of the print view, return to Manage Entries and select [Edit] to make changes
- Print your project profile sheet and insert it as the first page of your entry binder.
- Prepare a three-ring binder (up to 2 inches) that includes a reasonable amount of samples and supporting materials that are referred to in the corresponding entry summary. For Web-related categories, you should include no more than 10 images/pages as support material and the live URL. For audio or video categories, entries should be submitted on a DVD and edited to no more than five minutes.

Step 6: Mail your entry
-All entries (binder with project entry print-out and check-if applicable) should be shipped to:

Step 7: Order Duplicate Awards
- If your entry wins an award, you may return to the site and click [Purchase Duplicates] to order additional awards. Be sure to double check what you type in because that is what will appear on the duplicate(s).
